Bu çalışmada çinko, bakır ve pirincin 0,1 M NaCl ve değişik konsantrasyonda tolitriazol (TTA), benzotriazol-tolitriazol karışımı içindeki elektrokimyasal özellikleri karşılaştırmalı olarak incelenmiştir. Sabit potansiyelde elektroliz ve akım potansiyel eğrileri yardımıyla tolitriazol mn inhibisyonunu açıklayan bir mekanizma önerilmiştir. Bu ortamlarda bakır ile pirincin elektrokimyasal özelliklerinin oldukça benzerlik gösterdiği ve tolitriazol'nm pirinç korozyonunu yüzeyde adsorbe olarak ve ZnO filminin oluşumunu kolaylaştırarak önlediği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. İkili inhibitör karışımları içeren ortamlarda pirincin polarizasyon davranışı tek inhibitör içeren ortamlardakinden farklı değildir.Benzotriazol-tolitriazol karışımları çinko korozyonu önlemede daha etkilidir. Bakır için tolitriazol, BTAdan daha iyi inhibitördür.

investigated in unpolluted and sulfide polluted 3.5 % NaCl. Both Tolytriazole and BTAH give
approximately similar results in unpolluted salt water. Electrochemical techniques illustrate that Tolytriazole
gives about (40%) higher efficiency than BTA in case of sulfide polluted media. Surface analysis by
X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy reveals the presence of both sulfide and Tolytriazole on the corroded
surface. In sulfide polluted salt water Tolytriazole shows better performance than BTAH. The mechanism of
protection is attributed to the formation of protective film of Tolytriazole or BTAH. The rate of destruction
of the protective film in Tolytriazole is lower than that of BTAH in the presence of sulfide ions. This result
is established at sulfide concentration as low as 10
-3 M in the presence of 10-2 M Tolytriazole. The gained
