Belclene 200 has been developed as a calcium carbonate inhibitor in industrial water systems and other related applications.
Description
Belclene 200 is the most effective calcium carbonate antiscalant for high hardness, high alkalinity, and high temperature cooling water systems, in the industry.
Application
Belclene 200 provides the formulator:
- Superior calcium carbonate scale inhibition in severe service conditions, where the LSI approaches 3.0
- Both threshold inhibition and crystal modification
- Better results for phosphonate based programs than when phosphonates used alone
- Easy on-site testing using Bel-Trak test kit

pH limitations: to avoid precipitation, formulate below pH 2.5 or above pH 8.0. At in use concentrations Belclene 200is stable at any pH.
Thermal stability (TGA)
Thermogravimetric analysis has shown that Belclene 200is stable up a temperature of 300°C (572°F).
Chemical reactivity/compatibility
Belclene 200 is not affected by chlorine or other oxidising biocides under normal use conditions.
Test for compatibility with long chain nitrogen compounds, aliphaticamine and quaternary ammonium compounds
