Dodecane/Tetradecane is a highly linear single cut paraffin of high purity that is used as natural-based replacement of cyclomethicones D5 or petrochemical isoalkanes. This fast spreading emollient has a low viscosity, is readily biodegradable, highly stable against oxidation, and is pH stable with the ability to formulate at extreme pH conditions. This product is compatible with silicones, lipophilic cosmetic ingredients and UV filters and serves as an alternative emollient for silicone- and petrochemical- free cosmetic concepts.
