BRB SILOEN SPR 1550 supplied by ATAMAN KIMYA is a Water Repellent Resin Emulsion
BRB SILOEN SPR 1550 is used to improve adherence, waterproofing and resistance of interior and masonary coatings to extreme conditions.
Silicone paint additives like BRB SILOEN SPR 1550 have very low surface tension.
This property makes them very effective when added in small amounts to paints.
BRB SILOEN SPR 1550 is highly effective for surface modification, and for preventing various paint film flaws.

Water repellent silicone resin emulsion for interior and masonry paints and coatings.
Composition
Emulsion of silicone resin and siloxanes in water.
Technical Data
Solid content: Approx. 52%
Apperance: Milky white, viscous
Solvents: Solvent free, water based
Properties
BRB Siloen SPR 1550 is suitable as a co-binder for masonry coatings.
BRB Siloen SPR 1550 improves weather resistance, reduces water absorption and leaves the coating open for diffusion.
Application
BRB Siloen SPR 1550 is completely miscible with water and all water based paints in any ratio.
Recommended quantity required in silicone masonry paints: dispersion / silicone resin emulsion 7:3 parts by weight (regards to solid binder components).
Storage conditions
BRB Siloen SPR 1550 can be stored for at least 6 months in closed containers.
The product must be stored at between +5 C and +35 C.
Over these temperatures the emulsion stability may be affected.
Packaging : In 200kg PE drums and 1000kg IBC.

Features
Slickness
Silicone paint additives function to lower the friction coefficient of the paint film surface, making it slicker.
Forms hammertone finishes
Silicone paint additives are used to create hammertone finishes by the formation of cells due to a convection effect in the paint film.
Prevent floating and flooding
Silicone is dispersed in the interior and surface of the paint film, thus preventing the convection effect during paint drying.
Prevent blocking
Dimethyl silicone fluid contains various functional groups that react with paint resins, thus improving durability and compatibility with paints and providing an antiblocking effect.
Defoaming effect
Silicone paint additives function to break down foam in paints.
Improved resistance to moisture and salt water
The molecules contain functional groups which bond with metals and inorganic matter, and contain functional groups which bond with the paint vehicle. This improves the adhesiveness of the paint film and improves its resistance to salt water.
