VP/VA Copolymer

VA 64 W is a 50% solution of a copolymer of vinylpyrrolidone and vinylacetate in water, that is used in hair care and styling preparations as fixatives and film-forming agents. 

It is a clear and colorless to slightly yellowish aqueous solution with a faint characteristic odor, solids content (60 min., at 140°C, vacuum) of 48,0-52,0%, a pH value (10% based on solid content) of 5,0-7,0, and a k-value (1% (m/V) in ethanol) of 26,0-34,0.
