Glycereth-7 triacetate is a Triester of acetic acid with a PEG ether of glycerin containing an avg. 7 moles ethylene oxide

Glycereth-7 triacetate uses and applications include: Emollient, humectant, solubilizer in cosmetics; solvent for sunscreen ingredients.

Glycereth-7 triacetate is a 100% active light yellow liquid ester that produces a slightly dry, silky emollience on the skin.
Glycereth-7 triacetate is completely water- soluble and has outstanding solvency, having the ability to dissolve a variety of cosmetic ester and oils which makes it indispensable to cosmetic chemists.

Glycereth-7 triacetate can be applied in sunscreen as a superb solvent.
In addition to being a multipurpose solvent and coupling agent, Glycereth-7 triacetate can be applied to effectively eliminate or reduce tack in carbomer gels.

Glycereth-7 triacetate in an ethoxylated water soluble trimester imparts gloss, sheen and lubricity with a minimum of oiliness.
It is recommended for lipstick and lip gloss preparation.
Glycereth-7 triacetate is a good coupling agent in hydro-alcoholic systems and acts as a solubilizer, humectant and o/w emulsifier in skin and hair preparation.
Glycereth-7 triacetate is also an effective wetting and coupling agent and dispersant for pigmented products.

Glycereth-7 triacetate is a triester which can be used as emollient, humectant and solubilizer in cosmetic products.
PEG-7 glyceryl triacetate functions as a coupling agent in water, solubilizing water-insoluble and marginally soluble esters.
