IRGAGUARD

Irgaguard is a Special Glass/Zeolite design allow for controlled Silver-ion release. The bioavailability of silver-ions is critical to the antimicrobial efficacy. Irgaguard prevents growth of bacteria, mold and yeast on surfaces, it therefore it provides odor control, hygiene maintenance and the possibility for product differentiation. In combination with low migration rates it is especially suitable for use in coatings applications. Irgaguard gives durable efficacy in thin layers, and has been optimized with respect to color retention under sun light exposure as compared to standard Silver-based antimicrobials, which can show discoloration.
