The structural formula is Bis ( 3- aminopropyl) dodecylamine. It has broad spectrum activity against both gram positive and gram negative bacteria. It maintains high efficacy also in presence of heavy organic soiling, such as blood and protein. It is active against enveloped viruses (eg. Hepatitis-B). It has good surfactant properties. It is compatible with selected anionic surfactants.
