HOSTAPHAT

The Hostaphat brand of Clariant consists of a whole range of special fatty alcohol phosphoric acid esters which are used as effective anionic emulsifiers in Personal Care applications. These products are noted for their high physical and chemical stability and their compatibility with both non-polar and polar oils. Contrary to soap, phosphoric acid esters are also anionic at low pH values, which provides the  possibility to formulate over a broad pH range.
