HPAA is mainly used as cathode corrosion inhibitor in oilfield refill water system in fields such as steel & iron, petrochemcal, power plant and medical industries. When built with zinc salt, the effect is even better.

APPLICATION of 2- HYROXY PHOSPHONOACETIC ACID (HPAA)

2-Hydroxy Phosphonoacetic Acid (HPAA) is primarily used as scale inhibitor in water treatment, pipeline. It 
a) has the best corrosion inhibiting ability among phosphonates, suitable for high-corrosion water; 
b) is compatible with zinc salt; 
c) has good heat-stability, high temperature resistance is 200 deg.C 
d) contents lower phosphorus, lower impact on environment.

2-HİDROKSİFOSFONOASETİK ASİT 
HPAA, esas olarak, çelik ve demir, petrokimya, enerji santralleri ve tıbbi endüstriler gibi alanlarda yağmurun doldurma suyu sisteminde katot korozyon inhibitörü olarak kullanılır. Çinko tuzu ile inşa edildiğinde, etki daha da iyi olur.
2-Hidroksi Fosfonoasetik Asit (HPAA) öncelikle su arıtımında, boru hattında ölçek engelleyici olarak kullanılır. 
HPAA ; 
A) yüksek korozyon suyu için uygun fosfonatlar arasında en iyi korozyon önleme kabiliyetine sahiptir;
B) çinko tuzu ile uyumludur;
C) iyi ısı kararlılığına, 200 ° C yüksek sıcaklık direncine sahiptir.
D) içeriğindeki düşük fosfor, çevreye daha az zarar verir.
HPAA, kimyasal olarak kararlıdır, hidrolize edilemez, asit veya alkali tarafından tahrip edilmesi zor, kullanımında emniyet, toksisite ve kirlilik içermez. HPAA çinko çözünürlüğünü artırabilir.
